That’s exactly why we created THE STEM EXPLORER SESSION. Think of it as a gentle, 30-minute peek into your child’s unique way of thinking. It’s not about pressure or performance — it’s about us connecting with your child in a relaxed way, through hands-on activities. We want to understand their level of knowledge of a particular computer language or software. It’s about watching a kid navigate through a challenge at hand and seeing their mode of action and execution.

The purpose is to do something different from stuffy assessments and yawn-inducing evaluations. Our STEM Explorer Session is an adventure designed to give your child a taste of the incredible world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Think of it as a sneak peek into a universe brimming with possibilities for your kid.

So, what’s the secret sauce behind this awesome exploration?

What are you going to expect in this STEM Explorer Session? Your child will explore fun, thought-provoking activities designed to motivate their learning, explore potential, and enhance their ability to execute their ideas. An expert instructor will guide them through the session, but with an important difference — they’ll step back to let your child take the lead.

The focus isn’t on right answers, but on understanding:

1. How your child approaches problems.
2. What they already know.
3. How they think through challenges.

For Example:

If a child is interested in Web Development, we might discover:

1. They’ve read about HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
2. They understand the concepts.
3. But they struggle to actually write code.

This shows us exactly where they need help — makes it easier to remove this gap between theory and practice. Based on these insights, our instructor will recommend the perfect starting point, whether that’s ScratchJr, Robotics, Web Development, or another area.

Why is this 30-minute joyride so important?

Because at TSE, we believe in nurturing potential, not labeling by age. There are no restrictions. From age 6 to onwards, your kids are welcome to take the session and find out what truly tickles their fancy. The rules are simple.

1. Just a Jiffy! This STEM Explorer Session is a breezy 30 minutes. And just like clockwork, when that virtual (bell) rings, our time will be up!
2. Kids Only, Please! For this particular exploration, it’s all about understanding your child’s own unique smarts and talents. So, while we know you’re their biggest champion, parents, this part is a solo mission for the little explorers.
3. Round Two? No Problem! This isn’t a one time deal. If a student is ready for the next level but a bit confused about which course to choose, they can absolutely hop back in for another session to help them figure out their upgrade.
4. It’s Free! But why? We believe every child deserves access to great STEM education. That’s why we offer this session at no cost — no strings attached. This isn’t just about one session. We’re building a community where:
