Robotics with Tinkercad

Ages 6–18 Group format

FREE TINKERCAD ROBOTICS SESSION Step into the world of robotics with Tinkercad and discover how circuits, electronics, and programming come together to create real projects. Join our free live, hands-on session and learn how to design and simulate circuits, control components through block coding, and turn simple ideas into interactive robotics projects. What you’ll learn: • Build and simulate electronic circuits • Program components using block coding • Understand how hardware and software work together • Create practical robotics projects • Develop problem-solving and computational-thinking skills No prior experience required. The session is designed for beginners and anyone interested in exploring robotics and coding. Wednesday | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Live Online Session via Zoom 100% Free

About Asim Ghafoor

I am an Electronics Engineer and robotics instructor. I build programmes that take students from their first blinking LED to autonomous robots. Three of my books have been published commercially: STEM Robotics (Beginner), STEM Robotics (Intermediate), and Robotics with Arduino. I currently work as Lead Engineer at Bots Future, where I lead engineering teams across R&D, curriculum development, and classroom kit design. This includes a multi mode robotics learning kit covering line following, maze solving, ESP32-CAM vision, and Bluetooth control with a companion mobile app, and extends to work on Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, STM32, and Jetson Nano platforms. I have conducted more than 100 teacher training workshops across Pakistan, and I have prepared and represented student teams at national competitions and public science events. My engineering background includes FPGA and SoC firmware development at Rapid Silicon (USA) and freelance embedded work for Fusion Semiconductor. I hold an MPhil in Electronics (3.75/4.0) and a BS in Electronics (Hons.) with 3.60/4.0. My current research applies EMG and IMU sensor fusion with SVM based gait intent classification to powered lower limb prosthetic control.
