How AI Makes Decisions ?

What if your child could peek inside an AI's "brain" and see how it actually decides things?

In this 1-Day Hands-On AI Workshop, students explore how AI systems make decisions from simple rule-based logic to how machine learning models weigh choices and build simple interactive demos to see decision-making in action.

What you'll learn:

  • How AI models process information and make decisions
  • The difference between rule-based logic and machine learning
  • How bias and data quality affect AI decisions
  • Critical thinking about when to trust (or question) an AI's answer

Prerequisites:

  • A PC or laptop with stable internet is required
  • No previous AI or coding experience is required
  • Curiosity and a willingness to experiment!

Ayesha AnwarWorkshop Host

I’m an Electrical Engineering undergraduate at UET Lahore and a Research Assistant at MEDS Lab, where I work on open-source RISC-V processor design under Prof. David Harris (Harvey Mudd College). As a Learning Facilitator at TSE, I’m passionate about making technology simple, practical, and exciting for young learners. In this workshop, I’ll help kids explore how computers think using binary numbers, catch errors with clever parity tricks, and master sorting algorithms all through fun, hands-on activities.
