GameMaker Adventure: Learn to Build Games

This free workshop is designed for students who are interested in game development. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with platforms like Unity, you'll learn how to navigate GameMaker, build a simple arcade game, and discover how to continue learning through tutorials and open-source resources. The goal is not just to create one game, but to build the confidence to explore game development independently and take the first step toward learning programming through game creation.

About Ammarah Wakeel

I'm an Electrical Engineering undergraduate at UET Lahore and a Research Assistant at MEDS Lab, where I contribute to open-source RISC-V processor design under Prof. David Harris (Harvey Mudd College). I currently mentor incoming interns at MEDS Lab, previously led Women in STEM at IET On Campus, and was selected as UET's sole CM Female Ambassador from 500+ candidates under Women Development Department, govt. of Punjab. I'm passionate about making technical concepts accessible, and I bring my experience in embedded systems and hands-on mentorship to this workshop.
