Flock XR: From Scratch to 3D Coding

Ages 8–13 Group format

Take your child’s coding skills beyond Scratch and into the world of 3D creation! 🌎 In this hands on workshop, students will use Flock XR, a block based coding platform similar to Scratch, to create and code their own 3D worlds, objects and interactive experiences. Perfect for kids who have already learned Scratch and want to keep coding, building and learning new concepts without jumping straight into Python. No prior 3D experience required. Just bring your creativity and love for coding!

Mishal AhmedWorkshop Host

Hi! I’m Mishal Ahmed, a Data Scientist and STEM Educator with 2 years of teaching experience at The STEM Educators (TSE).

Over the past two years, I’ve taught 60+ students Scratch, Python, and Web Development, helping students learn through hands on, project based learning.

For this workshop, I’ll be introducing students to Flock XR, where they can take the block based coding skills they already know from Scratch and use them to create and experiment in an interactive 3D environment.

I’m excited to help students discover a new way to keep learning, creating, and having fun with coding!
